This is one of the cutest spring DIY's that is super simple but adds a lot to a room. So I went to the dollar store and bought a bunch of fake daisies (because I thought they were just super cute). Then I hot glued the flowers onto a piece of twine (which I got from Target) and hung it on my bed. Since it was too long I hung the rest over my white board!

It means no worries! Hakuna Matata- this is one of the best inspirational quotes in our opinion to help you let go of your worries or stresses! It's from one of the best Disney movies around and we both decided to incorporate it into a DIY that we can use to decorate our rooms! The first DIY is a Hakuna Matata box (which you can find beside my bookshelf). I purchased the box from chapters and then put painters tape across the box to help make crisp lines. Next I painted my box using the paint that came with it ( you can use any paint) and left it to dry. When it was done drying I peeled of the tape, touched up any messy areas and then the bottom part of the box is done! On the lid (or the top part of the box) I write Hakuna Matata in black and painted a dream catcher beside it using a beige/cream colour. For the second DIY I took a plank of wood that was just sitting in my backyard and I grabbed three different coloured paints and squirted them onto a plate randomly and dipped my hands in two different colours paint at the same time then spread my hands all over the back of the wood, blending it as I painted to create an ombre affect and then I repeated the process using the third colour:) Once the paint dried completely I used a think black sharpie and wrote Hakuna Matata on it.
Not that long ago we had a sleepover and we decided it would be really fun and cute to create photo booth with some props we could decorate ourselves. We used wooden props that we bought at our local craft store (Michaels) and acrylic paint. After decorating and then letting them dry for about 10mins we set up a white background ( you can use bristol, a white sheet etc.). Then then set up a timer and take some super cute pictures!
