Hey guys,
Now that there is finally snow on the ground and a chill in the air I consider it winter! So today I decided to share with you guys a few of my winter fashion favourites, you know...my essentials for the season:) 1. Blanket Scarf if you guys read my "Fab Fit Fun Unboxing" then you might have seen this scarf featured in the post. But one of my winter essentials is definitely a super big, extra soft and ultra cozy blanket scarf. Why? Well no matter who you are or what you are doing you will be warm. Going out for dinner? Wear it as a super stylish yet warm scarf. Staying inside on a cold winter day and reading on the couch? Use it as a blanket and hibernate all day❤️ 2. Fuzzy Socks Yet again, fuzzy socks make it onto the list....but there is a good reason for it! I was always told as a kid, if your feet are warm you will be warm, and I guess that it has just kind of stuck with me. If I'm ever cold ... which happens quite often in the winter....then I just slip on some fuzzy socks and all my problems are solved. I personally recommend the fuzzy reading socks from chapters/indigo. 3. An Oversized Sweater I prefer an oversized sweater that can be dressed up or dressed down. Whether it be one with a cowl neck or a v neck, any style of cozy sweater can be paired with a scarf or a necklace to dress it up! What better combo is there than cozy AND cute. 4. Winter Boots Now as much as I love cute statement pieces and knee high boots...it is important to have a durable pair of good ol' winter boots. Ones that will protects you from slipping on ice and help you march through the snow. My favourite winter boots are Timberlands, although they are on the pricy side they give a good balance between stylish yet practical and work great in the winter weather! 5. Holiday Dress When it comes to Christmas dinner I always find myself struggling to pick out an outfit to wear becuase nothing seems "nice enough" or "fancy enough". It is definitely an essential to have a go-to winter dress that you can rely on to wear to events. Mine is a nice lace, maroon colour, above knee length dress and it is from Garage. Perfect for any winter event from semi formal to Christmas dinner! Anyways..this post went up WAAAYY later than I hoped it too. I've been really busy with school assignments, Christmas shopping and spending time with family. But nonetheless I worked really hard to pull this together for you before the new year and before winter shopping is over. I really hope you guys enjoy it and we will try our best to get some more posts up for you:) No matter what you celebrate I hope you and your families have an amazing holiday season! xoxo C&C ps. Don't forget how much your comments mean to us❤

Hey guys!! Christmas has begun! It's finally our favourite time of the year!! Everyone is starting to get ready and decorate and that means one thing- holiday party's. We are sharing some of our favourite make up tips for party's this Christmas season!!
LIPSTICK I love wearing red lipstick for the holidays. I feel like it makes me feel more festive and adds a nice pop of colour to anyone. SPARKLE AND GLOW I feel like everyone is extra excited during this time of year and I think I need makeup to reflect that excitement! I love wearing gold glittery eyeshadow (especially in the inner corners of my eyes) because I feel like it makes my eyes pop and look awake. Highlight. I love it so much. It makes everyone just glow as soon as they walk into the room. EYELINER AND LASHES When it comes to my eyeliner I like to make it very prominent. I usually go for cat eye or winged because it stands out. I love wearing fake lashes because my eyelashes are a little long but I feel that I look nicer when I wear fake lashes (that is just my opinion though) I hope that these may inspire some make up looks for the holidays. If you have any other make up tips you like please let us know in the comments! Happy holidays! XOXO C&C Hey guys! Long time no post!! Hope you are all having a really great weekend! I was trying to think of post ideas and I couldn't decide if it was too early to post for Christmas but too late to post for fall so I decided to do a random post that can help you out. :)
1. Rise and Shine! This one is DEFINITELY not mandatory. It is really hard to get up early in the morning, trust me I know!! However, waking up early always makes me feel really good because I feel like I have so much time to get everything done and the day is not wasting away. 2. The Most Important Meal of the Day Start your day off right and and stay energized by making something healthy and filling. Try making a smoothie or having toast with peanut butter or avocado. Those are really healthy and good for the brain. 3. Make a List If you feel overwhelmed and are worried that you have too much to do and not enough time to get it all done make a list. Write down all the things you want to get done and write down a rough time you hope to have this done by. 4. Find Your Environment Everyone is different when it comes to their work environment. Some people have to have absolute silence to work and some people need somewhere really loud and lively. Find out what environment you get your best work done. 5. Plan, Plan, Plan!!! The best way I believe to really get work done, is to use my planner. The day before or week before I have an event of some kind I make sure I write down the time so I can plan every thing else around it. I hope this helps you all be more productive and organized! Have a great week!! XOXO C&C |
